The Kiunga Marine reserve is home to turtle nesting sites

The Kiunga Marine reserve is home to turtle nesting sites annually and we work to preserve the beach to keep them pristine for the nesting season. Donations go to beach cleans and transport to recycle is all accepted and already we notice the difference this is making. We collect donations to further educate the children from our local schools into loving their ocean and give bursaries to train further professionals in Marine biology, veterinary and scuba diving instruction as well as boat skippering certifications.

It is our intention to look after our next generation to be the proud hosts of the beautiful island and ocean. Kai house is set in the wild with populations of bushbuck and other island animals surrounding it. Further projects to protect the local coral reefs and sand dune environment and regenerate them are in sight. We look forward to sharing this journey of preservation with you for all to return to again forever to a pristine environment.
