Description
These beaded products are individually handcrafted by Maasai Women of the Lekerruki conservancy (Tassia) community. We buy the beads and hand out the selected designs. Each individual returns with her creation. These are real treasures made in the quite of the afternoons outside their huts in the good light at times when in the heat of the day there is a little time in their busy days to sew these beaded products which is their pastime and passion – passing onto a next generation a cultural tradition of knowing how to sew with beads and being paid well for their time.
